FAQ
FAQ
Q) Pain is on the tip of my toe—will a gel sleeve work?
A) Usually no. Sleeves protect the top at the knuckle /sides of a hammer toe, not the tip. For tip pain/corns, use a toe cap or crest pad (to lift the tip off the shoe).
Q: How long will the gel sleeve last?
A:Gel is very durable but is a thin layer inside a fabric layer but should last several months perhaps up to a year. Due to the thinner layer on the inside of the fabric so will wear faster that the all gel sleeve. Being careful not to overstretch while applying the sleeve can prolong it's lifespan.
Q) My gel sleeve feels warm or sweaty—is that normal?
A) Yes. Gel is occlusive. Sprinkle a little talcum powder, air-dry the cap daily. If skin is becoming macerated, decrease time of use during the day and be sure to remove at bed time.
Q) How do I pick the right size for toe sleeve?
A) Measure the circumference of the painful toe at the widest point and match to the size chart. If between sizes, go up. Too small = pressure/ feeling tight ; too big = rotation/rubbing.
Q) How long can I wear pads each day?
A) Usually they can be worn most of the day without a problem. But to start with 1–2 hours and increase as tolerated. Remove daily to inspect skin. If you feel numbness, tingling, or new pain, stop and refit. If issue continues , stop using and contact your doctor/ healthcare provider.Write a clear and concise answer to guide your customers.
