Why Our Corn Pads Are Different
Most corn pads you'll find at the drugstore are made of foam. They add cushioning, but foam compresses with shoe pressure and doesn't truly offload pressure from the corn. That means the friction and pressure that caused the corn keeps happening even while you're wearing the pad.
Our corn pads are made from medical-grade felt — the same material podiatrists use in-office to offload a corn. Felt maintains its shape under load, redistributes pressure away from the callus site, and stays in place throughout the day.
The difference:
- 🦶 Foam pads → cushion only, compress under weight, short-lived
- ✅ Medical Grade felt pads → true pressure offloading, durable, podiatrist-designed.

FAQ
FAQ
Q:How is this pad different than a non-medicated callus pad in a drug store?
A: It is made of a denser but soft felt material that is much better at redistributing pressure off/ offloading a sore hammer toe knuckle or corn.
Q: Can I use this pad for a sore knuckle or corn between my toes?
A: Yes. Typically for my patients I will place 1 corn pad on each adjacent toe to act like a spacer at the same time offloading the corn or sore spot.
Q:Can the pad be trimmed?
A: Yes for instance, snip the hole on either side to expand it to accommodate a larger hammer toe knuckle or corn.
Q: How long can you wear the pad?
A: It is not recommended to wear longer than a day and typically I tell my patients to remove before bed. The adhesive can irritate the skin and cause maceration.
Q: My corn pad keeps falling off in my shoe, what do I do?
A: You can secure the pad with narrow piece of paper tape unto the toe or switch to a gel toe sleeve or gel toe pad or fabric covered gel sleeve
